You Can If You Think You Can (Prentice Hall Press, 1986)

Written by the author of The Power of Positive Thinking, about persistence and belief in yourself. I read from this book every day. It’s encouraging, faith filled and has at its core the idea that you can accomplish anything if you put in the work and believe that you can. This is one of my favorite books in any category.

  1. Hank, I absolutely agree with you about this book. I guess it has been the one book in my library of inspiration that I have held close to my person and within reach since first reading it. Dr. Norman Vincente Peale as a inspirational speaker has been a mainstay in my library and my life. It is filled with the kind of wisdom that has and will stand the test of time. Although Dr. Peal is no longer with us his library of thoughts and godly wisdom is . I once got a cassette of talks by him and put it in the player in my car. It remained there for months, each time I would return to my car it was another chance to hear his gravely and grandfatherly voice cheer me up with more positive thoughts. When I read him now it is the same, I hear my dear old friend sharing some of the greatest words on being positive ever written. If you have not had the pleasure of meeting this iconic speaker and great man of powerful words of wisdom, do yourself the favor of picking this book up. And if you desire ebooks, all the more enjoyment, especially if you hear him emote. I am sure it will become a mainstay in your life and library as well.
